What IS Women Giving Together?

Women Giving Together is a fund of the Community Foundation of White County, supported by donors, who believe that high-priority issues can be addressed thoughtfully to inspire social change and improve quality of life.

The WGT Fund offers a beneficial way to join other caring women to impact the present and future of our community.

Who can join our Circle of Women?

YOU can! Any woman who believes in the power of women to make a positive difference, is encouraged to support CFWC's WGT Fund.

How do I join?

It's simple! Make a gift to the Community Foundation of White County in an amount meaningful to you, for the benefit of the Women Giving Together Fund. All gifts are tax deductible; half of each gift is permanently endowed, ensuring resources for the future, and half is used for the annual grant cycle.

What are the rewards?

An invitation to CFWC's Women Giving Together Fund events, engagement in meaningful grantmaking, Putting your creative talents and energy to work on the WGT Committee (if you wish,) and the satisfaction of knowing that you're helping to empower and strengthen women and families in White County.

Are there any Grants currently available?

Yes! The Women Giving Together grant is intended for the women and families of White County, and can be used for a wide variety of purposes within that scope.

Are there any Scholarships currently available?

Yes! The Connie Neininger Memorial Scholarship was created in Honor of the first Executive Director of the Community Foundation of White County. This $500.00 scholarship is to support a non-traditional female student from White County pursue higher education.
